Today, Vic Calonder officially joins the Central Bank & Trust SBA team as Senior Vice President, SBA Lending. Vic brings more than 15 years of banking experience to his position at Central Bank & Trust focusing his energies and expertise on commercial lending during that time.
Vic started his career in the restaurant business, having owned and operated three Italian restaurants in two states over a 10-year period before selling his businesses in 1999. “Having been a small business owner early on in my career, I’m able to easily connect with my clients who are in the same position I was more than 20-years ago,” said Vic Calonder, Senior Vice President, Central Bank & Trust. Vic continued, “Joining Central Bank & Trust as it expands to Denver was an easy decision to make- they’re the type of bank I would have worked with when I was a small business owner, and now I get to be on their team.”
“We want to ensure that the SBA talent we’re bringing to the Denver market has the same level of expertise and commitment to our clients as the team we’ve developed in Colorado Springs for the past 10 years,” said Tony LeVeque, Market President of Central Bank & Trust. LeVeque continued, “Vic’s experience on both the bank and business-owner side make him an excellent representation of the level of service our clients in Denver can expect to see.”
Central Bank & Trust currently has a full-service branch in Colorado Springs as well as an LPO in the Denver Tech Center. The market expansion is expected to bring 25+ new jobs to the Denver market, once the Denver branch opens in early 2020.
